Brixx Belvz (unheard hype artist)
Grafikal: Lets starte by giving us your name and what it is you do..
brixxbelvz: Name's Brixx BelvZ . . . and I rap. ahah.
Grafikal: how long have you had a rapping problem?
Grafikal: haha
brixxbelvz: HAHAA. never. I've been a problem for rap since I was 8. aha.
brixxbelvz: Started in 1996 with just careless freestyling ... But I started writing down my bars in 2003.
Grafikal: Thats whats up. you've been spun on the unheard hype since week 1 or 2, always had great reviews on the show. Do you see yourself putting more traccs out for the future?
brixxbelvz: Umm. Yessir. I was actually going through a little somethin' which really messed up my musical vibe. I just recently got back to working in the studio on some new material and I'll deff. have some new music for the unheard hype to spin.
Grafikal: Who is your 1 main influence in hip hop, like the true person to thank for your love?
brixxbelvz: I don't really have a rapper as a major influence like most people. I actually do this for me. haha. It's release therapy for me...
Grafikal: If you could say 1 thing to EVERYONE in the industry, and they had to hear it no matter what, what would you say?
brixxbelvz: I'm not lookin' for friends. Don't get in my way.
Grafikal: Heres the most used question, but where do you see yourself in 5 years?
brixxbelvz: Umm, in about 5 years? I see myself on top of EVERYTHING. I plan to take it beyond rapping and shit. I'm looking to tap into anything I can a make a profit with.
Grafikal: Hired Hitman? , Male Prostitue? , Crystal Meth Tester?...
brixxbelvz: I'll invest in those businesses if needed haha!
brixxbelvz: Don't worry. I'll call you first to be a meth tester.
Grafikal: haha. all set.
Grafikal: So if you could spend a limit of 1,000,000 on only 1 item. what would it be?
brixxbelvz: Damn ... good question. hmmm
brixxbelvz: I'm a boring ass nigga. I'd just go buy a house or some shit. haha
Grafikal: i'd take the house, buying some shit just sounds wasteful.... no pun intended..
Grafikal: If you could speak to 1 person your unable to for any reason..... who would it be and why?
brixxbelvz: talk to my grandfather. Just to show him all the things I've done with this music shit. He always said "You gonna be something - Nigga don't make me a liar." All the things I've done and I'm going to do is because of that lil thing he'd tell me. So yeah, if I could speak to one person it'd be "pop
Grafikal: Thats whats up man real talk, If the industry noticed you and you WERE at the gates of a contract...... what would you mainly look for in a label?
brixxbelvz: I'd look for some type of interest in Artist Development. I'd want then freedom to write and record artistically whatever I feel at the moment. And .......... NICE STACK PAPER NEEDS TO BE INCLUDED hahaha.
Grafikal: Do you have any advice for new artists?
brixxbelvz: Ha, I'm a new artist ahha.
brixxbelvz: Nah, actually what I want to say is .... BE YOU.
brixxbelvz: Don't hop on the band wagon and compromise your content because these other wack muh'fux on the radio and videos do it. It's okay to be real when you go in that booth and talk about what you REALLY know and do.
Grafikal: How much wood, could a woodchucc chucc, if a woodchucc, could chucc, wood?
brixxbelvz: Um. a lot. haha.
